Open Question: Did the Cops give us all a break?

Well me and 2 friends and my brother were at the park smoking a blunt, Then the cops pass by in front of us so i hide the Dubi, Then i stash it, then another cop comes down the road then 2 other cops came, Then they were asking us what were we doing, And my brother and his friends thrue there pipes, Then the cops found them, and the cop said "Alright Who's This" So my brother was like "Alright im gonna be honest with you it's mine" And they were saying that it smelled like weed on our shirt, And my other friend had a knife on him, And the other one had marker's,. But they let us go Because we were honest with them, They even said it. Did we get lucky, What would've happen if the cop felt like being a dick, And did i get lucky, This is the 3rd time iv gotten away from Cop's/Sheriff's. And i live in Denver, Colorado....
